SEN School Support Staff are non-teaching members of staff that support the smooth running and administration of a SEN school, namely Librarians, School Administrators and Business and Finance Managers. There are little to no differences in job descriptions for SEN school support staff based on education phase. Unlike the teaching staff, school support staff usually work the standard business hours from 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays during the school year with the option to work part-time throughout summer holidays and like all school members of staff must pass a full DBS check.
