In this Year 6 Teacher role, it is essential that you have the ability to hit the ground running from the off. With the pressure and importance of SATs, the school require a Year 6 Teacher how can quickly build relationships with pupils in order to eradicate misbehaviour and also to adjust the pitch of lessons to individual needs. The Headteacher will hire a Year 6 Teacher who has a proven track record of delivering outstanding lessons.
About the Year 6 Teacher Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be leading a class of 27 mixed ability, but hardworking students. You will be offered guidance from both the KS2 Lead and Headteacher in order to ensure you settle into the Year 6 Teacher role seamlessly, however, the majority of your work will be done with other Year 6 teacher. To break up the stress of exams, the whole of the year group will be working together to put on a Christmas play.
Based in Camden, the school has excellent public transport connections, as well as an onsite car park for those brave enough to tempt fate with traffic.
