This is a brilliant opportunity to become part of a creative and well run inner London school which has a real family atmosphere about it. Staff work well as a team and are looking to welcome a new member in September, with the current teacher moving on this summer. The SLT are looking to recruit and appoint an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher on a permanent basis this September.
This is a wonderful school, with a great location, atmosphere and clear guidance under a strong leadership team. Teachers are creative and work very well together; often sharing ideas and best practice. There is a genuine and positive feel about the school and would suit someone clearly passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and learning.
Experience within Year 3 would be ideal and preferred, but the head teacher would consider someone confident across Key Stage 2, keen to take on a good year 3 class next year. The school is very centrally located in the heart of the city yet still provides a safe, friendly and stimulating environment in which children can develop a life long love of learning. From Nursery to Year 6, the children enjoy an exciting curriculum with an international dimension that reflects the diverse nature of the surrounding community.
With two thirds of the pupil population being from homes where English is spoken as an additional language, and a considerable number originating from Bangladeshi or Somali backgrounds, a teacher experienced within such a multi cultural environment would be ideal. Applicants will need to be fully qualified and ideally UK trained with QTS. The successful candidate will be someone who is a confident practitioner, organised and professional with a calm yet enthusiastic approach to school life, teaching and learning. NQTs are welcome to apply and will be very well supported by a team of Outstanding teachers and senior leaders.
