You will need to have a confident and resilient personality and feel happy to deliver ICT/Computing lessons to whole-classes. You will need to have a passion for ICT/Computing and feel excited about the prospect of projecting that same passion onto others. You will have the desire to explore teaching and what is really means to be a good teacher who has a positive impact on a student’s education.
During your time as an ICT/Computing Instructor, you will get the chance to work initially with students on a 1:1 basis but also in small intervention groups, developing and delivering fun and interactive sessions that are based on areas of the national curriculum. You will broaden your understanding of the school system and learn about behaviour management and the different ways in which ICT/Computing is taught. In this progressive role you will then be required to plan and deliver full-class ICT/Computing lessons.
The school are looking to meet with ICT/Computing Graduates who can start this role from September 2019 and are excited to introduce you to their school. Opportunities to join the school in May/June/July are possible for final year graduates who will be completing their degree studies over the next few weeks.
