One of the leading secondary schools in London is now looking to recruit some Teaching Assistants for September 2016. They are specifically looking for high achieving Science graduates with a passion for education.
This well known secondary school is located in a prime central London spot in Zone 1. The school is graded ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED, and it has state of the art facilities and resources. The school has been oversubscribed for a number of years due to the fantastic education provided across KS3, 4 and KS5. Results are among the best in the country, and Science is particularly strong due to the school having specialist science status.
From September the Leadership team is looking for at least 3 exceptional Teaching Assistants to work within their successful Science department. With this in mind, they are only interested in seeing Science Degree graduates who have excelled in their own academia, and ultimately want to teach. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential as this school has an excellent induction programme available to all new members of staff.
As a Teaching Assistant within the science department, you will be line managed by an outstanding Head of Science. Most of the Science Teachers at this school have been graded as outstanding, and deliver unique inspiring lessons which engage their students. You will be supporting these science lessons across all year groups, so you must have good subject knowledge, confidence to challenge eager young minds, If this is something you can offer, then you will thrive in this Teaching Assistant role, and be supported throughout the academic year by an amazing leader.
