Due to additional funding this thriving Primary School in Brent is looking to appoint fantastic Teaching Assistants from September. These Teaching Assistant roles are only open to high flying, ambitious and confident graduates who are looking to train as a teacher in the very near future.

Located in the North West London Borough of Brent and only a 15 minute tube ride form central London, this school is a thriving multicultural 2 form entry Church of England school in the heart of the local community. The school has over 32 different languages celebrated throughout its corridors. This is a popular school that is extremely well lead by the Head Teacher and senior Leadership team.
This is a larger than average 2 form entry Primary School that has good facilities. From September the Head is looking for a graduate to join them and support their children in this Teaching Assistant role. This will be a general Teaching Assistant post and no experience is necessary, but you do need to have an excellent academic record, along with a great sense of humour. The Head also likes the Graduate Teaching Assistants to get involved in their many after school clubs, and extra curriculum activities. If you’re a creative graduate then maybe you could set up a lunch time, or after school art club. If you’re good at sports maybe you could help coach the schools successful Netball or Football team. What ever your interest the Head is willing to support you as long as it is for the good of the students.
In return for your commitment and academic expertise the Head is willing to offer you a position within the school from September to July 2021. The Head will be supportive of your own needs to gain the best experience before applying for a PGCE and has also offered to mentor you incase you have any PGCE interviews in the New Year. What’s more, this is a school that supports School Direct students, and the Head has informed me for the right Teaching Assistant candidate, she may well be able to support you from next September!
