The Head Teacher is looking for a sporty Graduate Teaching Assistant to help their Class Teachers in either KS1 or KS2 deliver energetic and creative content in lessons, with support in the Physical Education of the school.
The Graduate Teaching Assistant will be a graduate who is looking to pursue a career in teaching and who is looking to build up your classroom experience in advance of completing a future PGCE application.
The Graduate Teaching Assistant role will be based around helping the Class Teacher in the planning, delivery and organisation of lessons. The class is a 30 strong group of children. They are a lively group of children who respond well to direction and who are progressing nicely. 30% of the children have SEN and you will be assisted in the classroom by a Learning Support Assistant who will ensure that the children’s individual needs are met.
