The successful applicant will be a confident graduate who has achieved well in your degree, having earned at least a second class degree and a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role. The ideal individual should be able to confidently communicate to both staff and children and quickly develop working relationships. You will possess a highly supportive nature that enables you to care for the academic, social and emotional progress of your pupils.
As a KS2 Speech & Language TA your role will involve you supporting the learning of a specific Year 3 pupil who has moderate speech and language difficulties. To equip you with further skills and confidence, the school are offering you a place on their bespoke CPD programme. You will quickly learn that the Special Educational Needs Coordinator truly values your support, and will guide you throughout the placement in return.
