To be considered for this role you must be a caring graduate who has an impressive academic record and a 2:1 or better in your degree and previous experience working with children who have special educational needs. You must have an open approach that allows you to form strong connections with others and a real drive to make a difference for children with special needs. You should have the capability to demonstrate the caring side to your nature and a true passion for speech and language. . About the Role:
In this Speech and Language Teaching Assistant post you will be supporting the learning of a specific Year 2 pupil who has Cerebral Palsy and other complex needs. Not only will you gain a wealth of experience here, but you will also learn how to be an effective leader as you work alongside the dedicated Inclusion Lead and Deputy Head. This is a school who pride themselves on providing high quality support and assistance to all teaching staff whilst still giving you enough creative freedom to deliver your 1:1 sessions in your own unique style. This is a specialist provision which is very sought after for Aspiring Speech and Language Therapists to build their knowledge and experience.
