This ‘Outstanding’ school are looking to appoint a confident Highly skilled Behaviour Mentor who has an impressive working history that demonstrates excellent planning skills, a well-prepared approach to tasks and a good grasp of safeguarding procedures thus promoting the wellbeing and safety of pupils. The ideal Highly skilled Behaviour Mentor should be able to show exemplary subject knowledge and show they are a good listener. You must be energetic with a passion for education and the ability to effectively support and mentor students with Autism, challenging behaviour and social and emotional difficulties
Role- Highly skilled Behaviour Mentor
As an experienced Highly skilled Behaviour Mentor you will be supporting Teaching and learning both on a general and small group capacity. You will be assigned a student/s across the class who will require your support and you will be working on developing strong relationships with your students and learning about the students as individuals, what motivates them and identifying their barriers to learning. You will be working with an expert multidisciplinary team of SEN/ASD professionals who use an effective approach, which enable smooth and efficient delivery of lessons.
