SEN Teaching Assistant - Romford, Havering | Start 1-year contract
Are you a Psychology graduate, with aspirations of becoming an Educational Psychologist?
Do you want to gain experience working with SEN pupils for 1-year before you start your masters?
The SENCo of an inclusive school in Havering is looking for 3 Graduates to join their school from September 2019 to support pupils with a wide range of special educational needs.
***1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant post
***Gain experience working 1:1 with SEN students in the classroom
***SEN Teaching Assistant based in Upminster, Havering
***£60- £80 per week for the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
***SEN Teaching Assistant role starting September 2019
You will be a talented, enthusiastic graduate who has practice working with SEN children and with a 2:1 in your degree. You must possess a passion for helping and developing students with Special Educational Needs.
You will be working closely with the SENCo, who will tutor you through your time at the school preparing you for a successful career. Your duties will include helping with pre-lesson planning and developing new activities that the whole class will enjoy. Working with less able pupils or those who have become stifled by the curriculum, you will help them meet their potential through smaller booster groups and 1:1 session.
