A lovely and very well run Islington based Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support a reception aged boy with severe Autism for the entire academic year. ***1:1 role – Reception aged boy with severe ASD (Autism)
***Full time – 5 days per week (immediate Start)
***Earn £65-£70 per day – full academic year
Housed within a lovely modern structure, this Islington based Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic psychology graduate who is keen to secure an SEN Teaching Assistant role for this academic year. The role is to work 1:1 with a young Somali boy moving in to reception (aged 4yrs) who has severe Autism which limits his communication and learning. Applicants need to have patience, empathy and a good work ethic as this role will be challenging and requires someone to commit for the remainder of the academic year at the very least.
The school is led by a fantastic headteacher, who has created a superb atmosphere within the school including a strong and welcoming staff that you will soon become part of as SEN Teaching Assistant. The headteacher is keen to find an individual who fits this dynamic, adds value to the support team and has a genuine interest in working with pupils with special educational needs.
