SEN Teaching Assistant – Thurrock

You will be someone who is has a passion to support children with SEN. You will be empathetic, calm, approachable and committed to the development of a child’s learning experience. You must hold a degree with a 2:2 or above. this is a graduate role and so we are not expecting you to have loads of experience already but any examples of supporting children with different needs will be advantageous.
Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will see you working closely with the school SENCO. You will be given the necessary information about the children under their care and will be provided with the support and guidance to effectively support them in their studies. At times, you will be working with these students on a 1:1 basis but will also get the opportunity to support small groups of students.
This is a highly supportive and friendly Primary school based in Thurrock. The school has an excellent reputation within the community and is popular within the local network of teachers.
