• About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role
In this SEN Teaching Assistant post, you will be working closely, on an individual basis, with a Year 4 boy who has been identified as on the Autism Spectrum. He has been described as a pleasant young man who does not lash out, the main support he needs is staying on task in class and with his social development. He does tend to run away if situations become overwhelming but with time it will become evident to you what these situations are so you can intervene before they can escalate.
