For this post you should be a passionate graduate who has preferably held a paid or volunteering role where you supported SEN children and has the skills to empathise and use your SEN knowledge effectively. You will have the drive to take on new and challenging situations and demonstrate a caring and positive attitude. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a psychology graduate who is looking to gain skills and experience to support their future career in a child development capacity.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will need a creative approach to reflect the school’s ethos and the department, allowing for true innovation and dynamism. Day-to-day, you will be making the most of the first-class support and assistance provided by the school’s exceptional leadership team. Your responsibilities will include providing effective and engaging support through the use of a wide range of educational resources available within the school, as you work 1:1 and in small groups with students in the SEN department.
