This school has a small class of up to 12 that has pupils from across the primary range mainly relating to Speech and Language development needs. There will also be some SEMH needs to support along with a range of other learning difficulties such as ADHD, Dyslexia and ASD. This class has another teacher as well as strong TA support. They are looking for a confident teacher who is really strong on Speech and Language.
The suitable SEN Teacher can be primary, SEN or secondary trained but must hold Qualified Teacher Status and a track record of successful teaching of SEN children. Dependent on the right SEN Teacher, the Head can offer the role on a permanent or 1 year fixed term contract.
