My client is an SEN school that caters to children with a wide range of needs including ASD, ADHD, Sensory, non verbal and those with severe learning difficulties. They are currently looking for a qualified SEN Teacher who is passionate about SEN to join them on a permanent basis from September. This role also carriers a SEN allowance of £2,500 on top of your salary. They have a wonderful, approachable and supportive SLT in place that offer fantastic scope for CPD and career advancement opportunities. Their training is second to none and typically spans across the whole of the first term to ensure you are supported in the best way possible for your role.
The class sizes are normally no more than 8 students and are supported by 2-3 TA's. Children are put in classes depending on their needs over their age group, therefore you may be teaching a class of pupils from all KS2 year groups. Ideally, they would like to meet a SEN Teacher with experience in any of these fields but would consider a strong NQT who specifically wants to work in an SEN school that has worked in a SEN environment either as part of their placement or previous TA experience etc.
