This SEMH Teaching Assistant role requires a dedicated graduate who has experience working with children and a second-class degree that will inform your knowledge on child development and SEMH needs. This SEMH Teaching Assistant position is open to graduates who have brilliant relationship building abilities and have an empathetic approach when facing children who are experiencing difficulties. About the Role
In this SEMH Teaching Assistant position you will be working on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEMH needs. Ideally, the SEMH Teaching Assistant will have previous experience that will allow them to hit the ground running in this role and run both individual and small group intervention or mentoring sessions to support the development of SEMH pupils. The SEMH Teaching Assistant along with colleagues will have access to support and training from the SENCO who will also assist you in providing outstanding resources to carry out your duties.
