SEMH Teaching Assistant - Barking and Dagenham, East London
Are you a recent Graduate with experience supporting young people or adults with Mental Health disorders? Are you thinking about a career in education or as an Educational Therapist?
A school in Barking and Dagenham is looking for a Graduate with experience supporting people with Special Needs to join their school immediately to support pupils with SEMH.
This role will allow you to liaise with Teacher, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, play therapists and many other people working within the same field.

***1-year contract, Full-Time Post starting immediately
***£70-80 per day depending on your experience
***Experience with Mental Health or SEN is required.

For this position of a SEMH Teaching Assistant, the school want to recruit a calm and purposeful individual who has experience in a support role. The successful graduate would welcome the opportunity wor develop themselves as they look forward to a career in education or as a therapist.
In this SEMH Teaching Assistant position, you will be working across the entire school and you will be leading pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You will have the responsibility of assisting teachers with the hope of you eventually leading your own sessions. You will be allowed to get involved in creating ECHP plans for pupils with Special Educational Needs
