Science Tutor - Enfield - Science Graduate Role

We are currently looking for a Science Tutor to join an expanding secondary school in Enfield; the role is expected to offer exciting progression in a great school environment.
This role involves supporting learning across the science department, working with pupils of different abilities on a 1:1 and small group basis to help raise attainment in science.

The school are looking for a confident and dynamic graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with young people, and a degree in a science-based subject. You will have the energy and enthusiasm needed to engage with pupils and encourage their progression.
About the Science Tutor Role
As a Science Tutor you will be working with the class teacher to identify and support gifted or struggling pupils in 1:1 sessions or intervention groups. You will work with SEN pupils both inside and outside of the classroom to boost their academic skills, reporting progress to the SENCO. With the different needs and requirements throughout your area, you will be utilised in varying roles as and when needed.
A inclusive secondary, this school is found in Enfield and is accessible via public transport. Due to an intake that includes higher than average numbers of EAL and SEN pupils, the school works hard to cater for a selection of needs and has so far managed to effectively progress students of all abilities.
