Our client school are looking for a Science Teaching Assistant who has strong subject knowledge and the ability to translate difficult scientific content into tangible learning. You will be confident in forming relationships with pupils and will act as a positive role model that reflects the school’s respectable ethos. Leading your own intervention sessions, you’ll have the power to dictate how you deliver the science curriculum to your pupils!

Responsibilities of the Science Teaching Assistant

> Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
> Within an agreed system of supervision and within a pre-determined lesson framework, teach small groups or whole groups in intervention and booster sessions
> Represent the schools ethos and work school-wide when required to.
