Our client school are hoping to meet with a graduate with a 2:2 or above in their degree. You must have a keen interest in Science and have a passion to work in education.
This progressive role will see the successful Science Teaching Assistant working with mixed ability students on a 1:1 and small group intervention basis providing creative and engaging sessions to maintain the schools high-achieving results. This Science Teaching Assistant role also comes with the opportunity to progress onto the school’s direct teacher training programme as of September 2019.
What we need from the Science Teaching Assistant:
• Passion, energy and creativity
• The ability to adjust your teaching strategies to support the individual needs of each student
• A 2:2 in their degree at the very least
• The ambition to become a Science Teacher in the future
