Science Graduate Teaching Assistant - Job Specification
Start your pathway towards a rewarding career as a Science Teacher with this fantastic Science Teaching Assistant role in Suffolk. You will be working in the classroom supporting GCSE and A-Level students. To be considered, you must have a 2:1 or First-Class degree in a science related subject. It is essential that you have a passion for others and have carefully considered a school-based role. Prior experience supporting children or young adults is preferable although not essential. Applications from Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Engineering Graduates will all be considered for this role.
You will be working on a 1:1 and a small group basis to deliver individual and group interventions to enhance the knowledge and interest in key scientific modules. This is the perfect platform to allow you to fine tune your teaching skills and effectively utilise your Science subject knowledge.
You will need to display effective communication skills, have a patient personality and be proactive within the classroom.
