Person Specification - Qualified Science Teacher
You will be a professional Science Teacher who has some previous experience in an inner city school and experience of working with both SEN and EAL pupils. You will provide a penchant for thinking outside the box and a desire for seeing students achieve. The school wants to recruit someone who has a motivational and relevant teaching philosophy and exemplary National Curriculum understanding. You will have the drive to show a real passion for education and lead your class to new academic heights.
About the Role - Permanent Science Teacher position
You will be becoming an important part of the goal-oriented Science Department. Part of your role will include making the most of opportunities to develop as a teacher through the CPD programme and leading lessons up to A Level. Part of your role will include joining the popular Science Department which is viewed highly amongst pupils due to the unique approach it takes it teaching. Led by a responsible Head of Science the whole team are united under the clear direction and instructions they have received in their regular staff meetings. Cohesion and cooperation are the key buzzwords in the Science Department; and this focus has created a supportive, friendly and productive working atmosphere. You will benefit from additional classroom support with an experienced Teaching Assistant who is always on-hand to help. Your responsibilities will include settling in to your role quickly with the help of a 'Outstanding' teacher and teaching in a well-equipped department which uses brand new laboratories .
