For this position, you must be a reliable Science Teacher who enjoys teaching all sciences. The ideal Science Teacher candidate will have some experience teaching in an inner London school. As a Science Teacher, you will need to think creatively about how to teach the syllabus in order to maintain the steady progress of students. The department encourage using practical experiments and investigations to aid learning.
About the Science Teacher Role
Whilst the school are looking for a Science Teacher who can teach General Science, there will also be the opportunity to teach either Chemistry, Physics or Biology through to A-level. The department is looking hire a Science Teacher who is able to drive the performance of all students to ensure that individual targets are met. The Head of Department typically hires Science Teachers who are dynamic in their approach and have the ability to adjust their pitch with ease.
