An outstanding London secondary school are looking to employ an experienced graduate or Psychology graduate to support their SEN pupils from September.
The Head and SENCO would like to award this opportunity to an experienced graduate looking to enter the teaching profession or a Psychology graduate with previous experience of SEN issues. The post consists supporting several SEN pupils in class on a varied timetable.
They feel that due to the specialist nature of this post, it could be suitable for a Psychology graduate, looking to develop their career in Clinical or Educational Psychology. It might also be suitable for a graduate with a knowledge of SEN conditions such as ADHD, ASD or EBD. Maybe you are looking for experience in supporting SEN needs before training to become a teacher.
The school serves a diverse community with pupils coming from a range of social and cultural backgrounds. As such 50% of pupils speak English as an additional language and the school accommodate this admirably. The head teacher can offer the successful applicant a school where pupils are willing to learn, and where they are supported by talented and experienced support staff.
