A Secondary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a graduate with an exceptional understanding of Science. It could be that you have either a degree in Biology related sciences, Chemistry relevant degrees or even Physics or Engineering. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be able to reach the minds of your pupils as you inspire a love for learning in them through an energetic approach to teaching.
As a Science Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be supporting Science in a general capacity, across the key stages. The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the academic and social progress of the SEN pupils under your charge, working with them in small groups or individually to target their areas for development. You will be gaining vital classroom skills by running small intervention groups and 1:1 sessions for pupils who might benefit from further class support.
