Science Teaching Assistant Role
As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be working across the entire Science department supporting the hard-working staff with the preparation of lessons and in mainstream class. It will be your duty to lead and supervise outside of class learning for pupils who have been identified as needing extra support and motivation to achieve their grades. You will have the opportunity to contribute to lesson plans, gaining a vital understanding of the day-to-day mechanics of teaching. The Science Teaching Assistant will be making the most of the various CPD and teacher training activities and courses that the school is keen to offer all the teachers and support staff.
