The school wants to meet with a graduate who has a 2.1 or higher in Biology, Chemistry, physics or a Science related degree. You will need to be a Science Graduate who has a passion for education and wants to explore a career in teaching.
As a Science Teaching Assistant / Academic Mentor your role will be providing pupils with the extra support they need to feel confident in the classroom by reinforcing their knowledge in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. Part of your position will be to lead small groups of GCSE and A-level intervention based you your specific science degree.
