Person Specification
To be considered for this role you must be a capable graduate who has experience working in a school and an impressive degree at a 1:1 level. You will arrive with the drive to succeed and the personality type that craves extra responsibility. The school needs a graduate who has the right attitude towards after school, extracurricular activities and the right level of inspirational qualities. You will be able to create worthwhile relationships with pupils and a genuine love for education.

About the Role
At this ambitious school, as a Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting teaching and learning across the school and you will be helping run afterschool activities. You will be using both indoor / outdoor spaces and more exciting resources and pursuing your own interests in the school's exceptional CPD course. Your responsibilities will include seizing this opportunity to prove you have what it takes to begin teaching, by earning a place on this school's School Direct programme. Being a member of this department is a great privilege and leads to some outstanding teaching. In this role you will be working under the positive Head of Department, a fantastic practitioner who is always keen to hear new ideas from all members of staff. Day-to-day, you will be acquiring a range of skills and methods from an Outstanding Teacher which will give you confidence in the classroom. This role offers the chance to lead 1:1 sessions and booster groups and supporting learning and development is your focus.
