This Religious Studies vacancy is designed for a motivated Humanities graduate who has an impressive academic record and a 2:1 or better in your degree and previous experience working in a school. You will be a graduate who can infuse your students with a passion for learning that is only matched by your own passion and enthusiasm. The Headteacher wants to recruit a graduate with excellent subject knowledge in their chosen subject, confident in supporting all key stages.
As a Religious Studies Teaching Assistant your role will involve you working mainly within the high-achieving Humanities faculty. As a Religious Studies Teaching Assistant you will be taking part in important, teacher-led group intervention sessions, learning the skills and experiences that will make you an 'Outstanding' teacher in the future. Your duties will include receiving mentoring from an Outstanding Teacher who has seen plenty of graduates develop as teachers through careful evaluation and 1:1 sessions designed to increase confidence and understanding in vital areas. You will be teaching classes of you own to put the range of skills you have learnt in to practice.
