To be considered you must be an intelligent graduate who has practice working with SEN children and achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree. Your portfolio will include a shared passion for improving the lives of children with SEN. About the Role for Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant
You will be working toward the possibility of being given teaching responsibilities which will allow you to lead a small class of your own. You will have the responsibility of preparing SEN pupils for the next stage in education as you guide them through personalised activities devised by the SENCO which help build on their academic and social abilities. You will be taking intervention and booster groups as well as supporting 1:1 sessions inside and outside of class. With a focus on personal development the school are always happy to offer extra training for its supporting team on top of the continued professional development plan you will already be enrolled on.
