If you’re the right candidate you can look forward to working in a fast paced, creative and vibrant Primary School for the rest of the academic year as a Teaching Assistant. The Head has 2 positions to fill, 1 in Key Stage 1 and the other in Key Stage 2. Depending on your strengths as a candidate will decide which Key Stage the Headteacher will offer. The general day-to-day role of a Teaching Assistant consists of in class support to the Teacher, mainly with Literacy and Numeracy topics. There will also be occasions where you work with small nurture groups, and children on a 1:1 basis.
