Person Specification for Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
You will need to be a secure Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting children who experience high impulse behaviours and need support in regulating their behaviour and an impressive academic record and a 2:1 or better in your degree. The school want to meet Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants who have the ability to think clearly and rationally in situations that they may not be familiar with.
About the Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Role
As a graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working across the whole of KS2. In general, you will be enhancing your teaching abilities through the instructions of a Class Teacher and giving students the academic support they need to thrive. This SEN role will require you to carefully watch over the children especially during interactive, learn-through-play activities.
