Premier Pathways Teacher Training - South East London | South East London, London
Premier Pathways is determined to reshape the existing model within which graduates train to become teachers.
We have already started this journey and have so far trained 341 Teachers since 2016. We are now excited to be supporting Secondary Schools in West London with confirming placements for Cohort 5, who will get started in September 2020.
Offering a two-year, salaried route into gaining PGCE and QTS, Premier Pathways and the University of Buckingham, our Trainees benefit from a tuition-free and supportive PGCE platform from which to excel within their careers as Primary and Secondary educators.
Our partner schools within Lewisham, Southwark and Greenwich would like to receive applications from aspiring Secondary Teachers who wish to train within in the following subjects:
- D&T (Engineering, Resistant Materials, Graphic Design)
- Business and Economics
To join our tight-knit community of Trainees, you must be a committed individual willing to devote the next 2 years to achieving their ambition of becoming a Qualified Teacher. With no in-school experience required, we are seeking talented graduates with solid academic backgrounds that demonstrate an ability to develop into an outstanding Teacher.
You MUST have a minimum of a 2:2 degree in the subject area you wish to specialise in to be considered for a Trainee Teacher role. You must also have GCSEs of C or above in English, Maths and Science.
Every Trainee Teacher on our Premier Pathways Programme begins their educational journey as a Teaching Assistant within a school of their own choosing. The compassionate and responsive team here at Premier Pathways strive to ensure that every Trainee Teacher understands their own practice and is fully prepared for adopting additional responsibility at each stage in their progression. Developing within the consistent and supportive environment we provide; our Trainee Teachers have established positive professional relationships alongside high quality teaching standards by the time they qualify.
