This salaried PGCE programme, facilitated by the University of Buckingham, will see a driven Trainee Teacher develop over 2 years within a fantastic and supportive school of their own choosing.
How does the Premier Pathways Programme work?
As a Trainee Teacher upon the Premier Pathways Programme, you will begin your development in a support role over the first year, slowly taking on more responsibilities as the year progresses. This will give you the chance to gain confidence and advance your teaching ability. Through the thorough guidance and support the Trainee Teacher will receive within school and externally, you will soon see drastic improvements in their pedagogical abilities.
As the Trainee Teacher becomes more effective at planning and delivering lessons within the second year of the programme, they will begin to adopt 80% of a teacher timetable. Assessed by the University of Buckingham at this final phase, the Trainee Teacher will be granted their PGCE with QTS, becoming a fully-fledged educational professional.
