We want to see Maths teachers with the drive to teach lessons with tricky concepts by simplifying the subject matter in a fun and effective way. You will possess a commitment to the consistent improvement of the school and good classroom presence.
About the Maths Teacher Role
In this Maths Teacher post, you will be moving into an especially focused Maths Department. As a Maths Teacher, you will be gaining knowledge of new teaching approaches and methods by making the most of the school's CPD and training schemes. Your duties will include monitoring and supporting the development of your Teaching Assistant and utilise them well in your own practice. The role involves you guiding pupils from KS3 to KS5 through the curriculum, delivering high quality and engaging lessons whilst addressing the individual needs of each pupil in the class.
