Person Specification
To be considered for this role you must be an industrious and eager Maths Teacher who possesses the confidence and energy to continue the school's improvements. You will be a teacher who can demonstrate your own passion for the subject and inspire pupils to achieve more. The school wants to meet applicants who have a natural flair for teaching that has been developed to a level that really helps for students to excel. You will have the ability to lead by example, letting your excellent classroom practice and naturally high expectations create a dedicated and ambitious learning atmosphere for other teachers and students alike.

About the Role
As a Maths Teacher, your role will involve you moving into an especially effective Maths Department and you will be teaching the GCSE and A-level curriculum. Your duties will include continuously monitoring students' achievement and developing strategies for learning to meet the lofty academic expectations of this high-achieving department. You will be teaching the curriculum up to Key Stage 5, with a particular focus on increasing attainment in GCSE and A-Level exams. The SLT are eager to offer an additional post as a KS3 Coordinator, a role that comes with an extra TLR and a more varied workload.
