Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant - Job Specification

You will be working in the classroom supporting GCSE and A-Level students. To be considered, you must have a 2:1 or First-Class degree in a Maths related subject. It is essential that you have a passion for others and have carefully considered a school-based role. Prior experience supporting children or young adults is preferable although not essential.
What does a Maths Teaching Assistant do?
You will be working on a 1:1 and a small group basis to deliver individual and group interventions to enhance the knowledge and interest in key mathematical modules. This is the perfect platform to allow you to fine tune your teaching skills and effectively utilise your Maths subject knowledge.
You will need to display effective communication skills, have a patient personality and be proactive within the classroom.
