A Primary School located in Waltham Forest, East London has a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant. This post is to work with a specific child with Autism who has recently joined the school. This is a full time, long term Learning Support Assistant role until July 2021

The Head has informed me they have a young boy joining KS2 who has Autism, and they are keen for a Learning Support Assistant to support the student. The child has mild Autism with no challenging behaviour. The Head and SENCO are looking for a supportive and committed Psychology graduate to support the child for the entire academic year in this Learning Support Assistant role. Experience with ASD isn’t essential as long as you have a passion for SEN, can commit for the rest of the academic year, and you believe you can make a difference to this student’s social and academic life.
