In this Learning Support Assistant post you will be moving throughout the school to match demand and you will be working to develop your abilities with the help of the school's training and CPD plan whilst becoming an invaluable asset to the schools learning support department. Working with struggling pupils or those who have become stifled by the curriculum, you will help them meet their potential through smaller booster groups and 1:1 sessions. To ensure that you feel settled in the role, you will be mentored by a skilled SENCO who will welcome you in from day one and line manage you throughout your time at the school. Day-to-day, you will be working closely with the teaching staff, helping to plan and prepare top quality lessons and interesting, relevant assignments for individual students and small group work. Your responsibilities will include working in the ever-popular SEN Department which is known throughout the school for their fantastic support to all students.
