We are hoping for a cheerful graduate who has school-based experience from a previous role and at least received a 2:1 in your degree. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will have the ability to strike up good working relations with your pupils and show a keen desire to become a teacher. You will possess the ability to inspire pupils with your own passion for education and a willing and enthusiastic character.
Ideally, the school need a graduate who can help pupils stay working efficiently and show exemplary subject knowledge in their post.
In this KS2 Teaching Assistant position, you will be supporting classes as and when needed within the KS2 phase. This role will see you leading small group sessions and mentoring students 1:1 to provide tutoring on the most demanding areas of the curriculum. Working across KS2 will give you an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with children of different ages ranges, as well as ability and needs.
This KS2 Teaching Assistant role will see you join a creative department where innovation and originality are strongly encouraged, as such it is hoped that you can bring your own imaginative style of teaching to the team. You will be following the creative ethos of the department and enrolling on a range of exciting training courses.
