To be considered you will need to be a thoughtful graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role and earned a second class degree or better. Ideally, the school need a graduate who is able to promote inspiring values which see their students wanting to achieve the very best. You must possess the ability to help students discover their own love of learning through sharing your own passion for education. You will provide the confidence to face challenges with a cool and calm demeanour.
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be helping to add another element to class learning within KS2 exclusively and you will be helping the teacher with planning and preparation. With CPD on offer to all supporting staff, they have a high success rate of TAs and LSAs going on to start successful teaching careers. You will work with the class teacher to identify pupils who will really benefit from your 1:1 support outside of the classroom in specified areas of the curriculum. Any interest in taking on further, more extra-curricular activities within the school will be welcomed by the Senior Leadership Team.
