KS1 Teacher Person Specification
You will be a passionate KS1 Teacher who has been acknowledged as a 'Good' or better teacher out of observations and ideally at least 2 years' teaching experience. Your portfolio will include a contagious enthusiasm for innovation and an ardent teaching style. We want to see teachers with the drive to deliver well thought out and interesting lessons, using proactive and reactive methodologies to tailor the learning experience. This vacancy is open to those who are keen and able to jump straight in and a strong belief in the value of setting high expectations.
About the KS1 Teacher Role
As a KS1 Teacher, your role will involve you joining one of the school's KS1 classes depending on need within the phase and you will be reaping the benefits of an impressive CPD program. Here, you will be given license to bring a fun, creative flavour to your classroom practice, as long as the curriculum is comprehensively explored, and attainment remains high. The collaborative Headteacher understands the needs of their staff and you will be offered a mentor who is a Parallel teacher. In this post, you will be enjoying the help of a skilful and motivated Teaching Assistant. The school has an opportunity of TLR roles for teachers who are keen for progression.
