Person Specification for KS1 Learning Support Assistant
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working with children who have special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a 2:2 or higher in a Psychology based degree. The school want to meet applicants who have the ability to inspire and enthuse their students with their charismatic personality. You will be able to show your desire to support children with special educational needs, guiding them through their learning. You will have a calm approach to challenging situations and effective and clear communication skills.
About the Role for KS1 Learning Support Assistant
As a KS1 Learning Support Assistant your role will involve you working closely, on an individual basis, with a Year 1 girl who has a statement of ASC. Your department is led by a fantastic SENCO, who is highly supportive.
