Each year this school appoints a small number of dedicated graduates to join their support team in a combination of Intervention Tutor, Mentor and Cover Supervisor roles.
The school are currently appointing a graduate to work as an Intervention Tutor that will support students across one or more of the subject specialisms listed above. You will become an integral part of the academic support team providing whole class support, small group interventions, and 1:1 intervention sessions. Working closely with the SENCO and Heads of Department, you will be planning and delivering engaging sessions to help raise attainment with pupils of varying abilities.
During the placement you will receive training and development to ensure you a providing a high-level of support, as your experience, skills and knowledge grows, so too will your responsibility, giving you a gradual learning curve on your pathway into teaching that will be guided by outstanding teachers.
