My client is a high achieving school that demands the best from both its pupils and teaching staff. Your excellent knowledge across the humanities will be used to good advantage both in a class setting, smaller groups and some 1:1 support. The pupils you will be working with are of mixed ability so it is crucial you can adapt your style and delivery to suit the needs of the class and individuals. They have some pupils with severe disabilities with exceptional ability in this subject area, so subject knowledge is key.
This is a large, diverse secondary school in Central London educating pupils between the ages of 11 and 18. Once housed in a traditional building the school has undergone extensive redevelopment to bring it up to date. The school has a rich and diverse mix of pupils giving any prospective, future teacher the opportunity to develop classroom skills that will stand them in excellent stead on the road to QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
