This vacancy is designed for a hard-working graduate and aspiring Primary Teacher, ideally suited to someone who has an impressive academic record and has already spent time in a role where you worked closely with children. About the Role
In this exciting KS2 (Year 4) Teaching Assistant position you will be working in class, adding much needed support on an ad hoc basis, also working 1:1 with children who have additional needs or have a lower ability than their peers. Day-to-day, you will be working in a supportive culture enabled by the highly skilled Special Educational Needs Coordinator. A key role and responsibility for the successful applicant will be too lead booster and intervention sessions in both literacy and numeracy within the class. These will need to be delivered to small groups, all the time helping to support the class teacher in whole class activities. This role will see you build and hone your skills as a future teacher, before embarking upon your teacher training.
