In this Cover Supervisor role, you will be working through the school to support lessons when the teacher is on leave. This Cover Supervisor role for someone with a lot of confidence and someone with a resilient personality. You will be working with students from year 7-11 and will have the opportunity to work with students of varying abilities.
In taking this position, you will work across all year groups and deliver a lesson which has been pre-planned. You will be effective in ensuring the behaviour of the class is productive and follow through with behaviour management schemes when necessary.
As a Cover Supervisor you will gain valuable hands-on knowledge of a working school and the different levels and procedures within that setting. If you are considering a career in teaching, then this could be a great opportunity for you to really explore the profession.
