Based in the east of Birmingham this larger than average 3 form entry Primary School is seeking to recruit a EYFS NQT to join them from September 2017. The role will be to work with a class of pupils of mixed ability and from multi-culturally diverse backgrounds. The role is a permanent, full time position. You will be a motivational and inspiring Primary Teacher committed to excellence and high standards. You will also posses the desire to support the school’s Head Teacher with their ambitious plans.
The school itself has good facilities, nice classrooms and a dedicated team of supportive staff. Under the Head the staff are committed to instilling an ethos of high standards and expectations in all areas of school life. The school are committed to raising standards and ensuring that all pupils are given a solid grounding for their future by ensuring they develop both academically and socially and are fully equipped as they make the transmission to secondary school.
The school has a good record of achievement in literacy and numeracy but are conscious of the need to keep driving standards forwards. As they look to appoint a new NQT it is paramount that the successful candidate is committed to their goals of raising attainment. You will need excellent knowledge of the curriculum and have the creativity to plan and deliver lessons that are interesting, fun and that meet the required learning objectives. The school was deemed ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features – Behaviour and Leadership – and any teacher joining the school will be expected to maintain these high standards of both the teaching and pastoral care.
